This is large enough for a hungry family. The cord is a bit short, And seems mainly designed to be used right in front of an outlet. I find this a bit problematic because I don't have that many outlets that don't already have something in front of them. Also with slow cookers, I often like to use them on the kitchen table itself and the cord is not long enough to reach from the kitchen table to the outlet which is right behind the table but lower.Also the handles get hot. The handles on the main body are metal and they do get hot.The menu is easy to use but not as flexible as I'd like. It's intuitive and it seems to get things set on different cooking styles. However it seems hard to adjust variables actually on the fly during the cooking process itself.It holds a lot and works well enough- it's good at cooking rice and slow cooked meals. I love that it has a sear function- It's great to be able to sear a roast before slow cooking it.I appreciate that after it finishes up the time in a slow cook recipe it automatically moves to a warm function.

If you’ve ever bought anything off brand, then you know what to expect here.This is a good, functioning, multi cooker. It is true to style, size, design, etc. as shown in photos.It was well packaged and worked on first try. The options and use of buttons required us to read the manual to understand each one. They’re not typical US options that you see on a Ninja or other brand name. For example. We didn’t understand what “stew” would be for vs. slow cooking a stew recipe.We used this for slow cooking, it worked great on high and low but honestly we like our traditional crock pot. Not much different but less clunky appliance.We used this on rice cooker, it didn’t work out well but could be used error.We tried grill mode as well, we prefer our WeberOverall, if you are tight on space and can deal with off-brand settings, this could work but the price point is way too high for what you get. It’s not a bad appliance. There are just much better and cheaper options here in US. We also found it a bit bulky to store.

The price on this is definitely quadruple what I recall slow cookers cost back when we got one for our wedding, but then again, 20 years have passed since then. Not to mention that this one also has a nifty food steamer. We've used this for preparing bigger meals for when extended family comes over that my tiny Instant Pot can't put out for. Aside from the eye-watering price, we're mostly satisfied with it.While we've only used it in those two capacities, I'm also excited to try this out as a nearly-mess-free griddle that keeps all the oils contained. We'll probably stick to the Instant Pot for rice; pressure cookers just work faster for those things.The quality of the unit is solid. My old slow cooker had a hefty porcelain basin, so I was surprised with how light this unit felt. The metal main pot feels like it could take a beating. I wish the steamer was also metal instead of plastic; I worry about smells being trapped in the plastic after several uses. Controls are intuitive.As for performance, well, slow cookers just kind of "do their thing". The thin metal heats (and cools) relatively quickly compared to the porcelain pot of yore. You do have to be mindful that the outside of the metal gets extremely hot (like the sides of a pot on a stove). This appliance is absolutely massive compared to my Instant Pot and even my old slow cooker, so its ability to make meals for a crowd is a selling point. But if you have limited storage space, this may not be the gadget for you.

I am very impressed with this Sunvivi multi-function cooker! I’ve only used it for the slow-cooker and steaming functions so far, but after the first meal, I already know I’m going to be using this a LOT.I made a whole chicken in it, and it turned out so incredibly moist and tender that the meat was literally falling off the bone. The taste was amazing too! The chicken was flavorful, juicy and cooked perfectly. What really surprised me was that it cooked faster than my regular Crock-Pot normally would.While I was letting the chicken rest, I was able to use the steamer basket to steam my cut potatoes and sliced carrots right in the same cooker. Being able to do everything in one appliance was such a time saver.The cooker itself feels very durable and well made. It doesn't feel flimsy or cheaply made, and I really like the sturdy construction and overall design. The 6.5-quart size is great, especially when you're making a meal for the family.The digital display is also a nice size and easy to see—even from across the room. This cooker is a interesting appliance, because it can do so many different things, and after testing this on several different modes / ways I can say that it does them decently, but not to the level of a dedicated appliance. The appliance is easy to use, just configure how you want to setup and press a button for the most part, and this makes it easy to clean as well. Read the manual before cooking anything to help understand the nuances of this machine. I can see this for a smaller home that doesnt have the space for individual machines.

I've owned a cheap rice cooker before which ended up malfunctioning. Been cooking rice in a pressure cooker for the past year and finally decided to get a new dedicated rice cooker to save me some time, so I decided to pick this one up as it's a reputable brand and had good reviews. I was a bit apprehensive about the price, but took a gamble.It might be the best kitchen appliance I've ever owned, and I don't say that lightly.- Cooks rice literally perfectly. No charring or burning/browning (using the sticky option), super evenly cooked. You can add your rice and set it to cook, go run a marathon or forget about it all day, and when you come back your rice is perfectly hot, ready to eat, and not burned one bit. I feel pampered.- Haven't experimented too much with multicook but it did make daal just fine, as well as some stew. The re-heat feature is also pretty neat and you can toss in your old, cold rice or curries and it warms it all up ready to eat in 10 minutes.- It is so easy to clean. All the important parts detach and let you rinse them, so you can keep this looking brand new and tidy with ease. This might be my favourite thing about it honestly. The rice dish doesn't even need soap, just rinse with water and a soft sponge and wipe dry.- Aesthetically speaking, it looks really nice so it'll fit right into any kitchen and doesn't take up much space either.FYI, you do need a large high power plug point for this. I live alone and cook about 2-2.5 cups of rice everyday and this is perfect for me.
