I bought this fan earlier this year thinking it would be my ultimate summer survival tool. After testing it across a few different months, I have a pretty mixed opinion on it. It’s definitely a good little device with some cool features, but it has a very specific limit.When it works well:If the temperature is around 80°F, this device is fantastic. The fan has 10 speeds, and when you pair it with the misting attachment and the little metal plate, it actually feels incredibly refreshing. On those mildly warm days, or even indoors in a stuffy office, it gives you that perfect, crisp "ahh" moment. It’s light, easy to pack, and the battery life holds up decently well on the lower settings.When it falls short:The real test came later in the summer when the weather got brutal. Once the temperature started hitting 90°F to 100°F, the performance completely dropped off. When it is that hot outside, the fan just ends up blowing hot air directly into your face. Even the cooling plate and the mist couldn't keep up with the extreme heat, the relief wears off in seconds because the surrounding air is just too intense.Final Verdict:Overall it's a well-made gadget, but I wouldn't really recommend it if you are buying it specifically for super hot days. If you need something to get you through an intense heatwave or an outdoor event in 100 degree weather, this won't be enough to keep you truly cool. It's a nice luxury for mild summer days, but not a heavy duty lifesaver. Also I need to add that is kinda loud so if your stuffed in a room with a bunch of people having a meeting, you can't really use it

Love this product! Perfect for hot weather. The fan is powerful, the mist is refreshing, and the cooling plate works great. On the lower power settings, the battery lasts much longer. It’s easy to use and convenient to carry. Definitely a must-have for outdoor activities and hot summer days!

If you experienced the nasty high heat/high humidity heat wave in Southern California in late August of 2026, you probably noticed a lot of people walking down the street with various neck and clip on fans. It was absolutely brutal, especially since not every shop/restaurant has AC. My cheap misting fan broke and I bought this fan as an emergency purchase. It was a bit out of my budget, but seemed portable and higher quality. I was correct! This fan completely saved me on numerous walks around town in 85-99 degree heat. Not too loud (below setting 3), decent air flow, and the misting feature is amazing, especially when you fill it with ice water! Some notes on why I subtracted a star:1. For the price, it should come with a protective carrying bag or case2. Also for the price, it should come with a neck strap...it only has a small wristlet strap, which isn't as useful3. The cold metal pad is nice but only for a few minutes. You then have to remove it and wait for it to be cold again. Not as useful as I had expected, and would likely work better in an indoor, cooler setting.4. Misting tank is tiny. Wish there was some way it could be larger.All in all, a useful purchase!

I will say that this fan is super cool. Great color, I got Matcha (green). The machine is actually quite loud which I was not expecting and I don’t like that. It does do the job and gets super cold. It is very light weight! It’s conveniently small so you can pack it in your purse/backpack etc. I do love how the mister doesn’t make you wet, the mist is comfortable without soaking you and that is much appreciated. It is stable and you can stand it on almost any surface. The quality is decent.With that all being said, it is NOT worth the price tag. This is not what I would expect from a $150 product. It’s loud and it doesn’t do anything revolutionary besides the cooling plate. Even then, not worth 150 dollars. The battery life is not that good and I would expect way better. I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends or buy it again, but i also would not return it…. Mainly because the color is super cool and the cooling plate is particularly valuable to me. Another thing that is SUPER annoying is that the accessories are SOLD OUT… You can’t get the clamp or the clip attachments, when they advertise their use in the pictures. That bothers me. You can’t even get it on their site either…. That’s ridiculous.The advertisements were good for this product, they got me! However, it did not live up to the hype.Unless you have a gift card or a disposable $150, I would skip this!!!

works very well, the cooling plate gets cold FAST, literal seconds. the fan is high powered and the misting piece works well and keeps you cool! I would recommend this product to anyone. very easy to put together and take apart, portable, noise level is low!

For ONLY ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY BUCKAROONIES you can have this experience.This thing is LOUD on any speed that you can reasonably feel. It sounds like your neighbors lawnmower at 6 AM on Sunday during your only weekend off. Or more accurately, maybe his weed whacker when it's just out of string, is nearly out of gas, and the spark plug is fouling up.Anyways, I own a 1974 AMC Gremlin with better fans and cooling properties than this silly robot. When Grem's big old V6 motor is screaming at 4,500 RPM, it's still quieter than this cute little gadget.And the "cooling plate"? It's like slamming a room temperature pack of ground beef from Kroger on your pressure points while ALSO being as loud as a Shark vacuum. Ground beef is never as loud as a vacuum.I never tried the misty part because by then I was done with this nonsense.Buy a dozen cheap Amazon fans and place them all around you like it's a sexy cooling seance during which you'll summon Coolietio, the onieromancer who will help you dream of better Amazon electronics-- you'll have better results than with this loud expensive piece of nonsense.Needless to say, I returned it.The screen on it was fancy and cool though.

This is a life saver!!! Gals in Peri, buy this now! It is so portable, gets very cool, and it is quiet on the lower settings. The attachments are great. I like the stainless disk that helps cool at pulse points, the most. I don't often use the mister, but that's more out of convenience for me than anything. Using it as simply a fan alone is fantastic!!!

The ChillPill is a great product. I have an intolerance to heat due to a health problem and this has been a life saver. The variations in ways to cool down are so helpful. You can use the fan, mister or cooling plate. The fan is louder than a typical handheld fan but the noise isn’t oppressive. It is small, lightweight and it is also helpful that the device articulates to get just the right position. I highly recommend this product.
