I prefer the vanilla scent to the berry. It’s softer and doesn’t smell like a cupcake like how some candles smell. It’s not that sweet artificial sugary smell. It smells like an actual vanilla bean but only when you first put it on. It fades quickly which is nice and goes on clear to leave some shine. It actually works to soften your lips too. It is sticky but it’s not thick at all so you can control just how sticky it becomes by adding layers. I usually start thin and then build up during the day, but I slug it before bed. I rarely have to reapply unless I’m actively licking my lips like when I’m eating. Sometimes I even wake up and it’s fully absorbed and other times it still feels like I just put it on. I guess it just depends on how dry my lips were when I put it on the night before. I haven’t had any issues with clogged pores or irritation and I don’t wake up to oily smears on my pillow either. For the size you get, I can see this lasting me well past the 12 month shelf life! Highly recommend!

I am a connoisseur of lip gloss. I always have to have some type of lip product on, and there is not a better one than this lip mask. I have tried many, many other versions, and the only one that even comes close is the Fenty lip balm. This does come at a higher price than most, but it also comes in a very large container. I usually get this when they go on sale for Prime or Christmas, but if I run out and they’re not on sale, I’m still going to buy even at full price. This does not dry on your lips quickly, and it is not too sticky or tacky. I do usually wear this just when I’m at home as the only product on my lips, but you could wear it over a lipstick or a lip stain for added moisture.

I decided to try the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask after reading rave reviews about its hydrating properties, and it's safe to say it's a good product. It does provide effective overnight moisturization, leaving my lips feeling soft and smooth in the morning. But I also feel like it leaves more of a film on my lips than some of the others I have tried. However, while it's a solid option, I must admit that my loyalty still lies with the Tatcha Lip Sleeping Mask. The Tatcha product has been my go-to for some time, and I find its luxurious formula and long-lasting hydration more suited to my preferences. That being said, the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is a worthwhile alternative and may be the perfect choice for those seeking effective lip care without the higher price point of some other brands.

Let me begin by saying, I have literally tried EVERYTHING known to human kind for my extremely dry and cracked lips. As a person with systemic lupus and fibromyalgia, I’m used to battling a lot of health issues and chronic fatigue/pain. I drink a lot of water every day, yet I still deal with chronic dry skin and unfortunately, even worse, dry lips. It takes every ounce of willpower I have not to bite or pick at the peeling dry skin on my lips and peel it off which only results in my lips cracking open and bleeding. I have tried every single brand ranging from bargains to more expensive products available at every brick & mortar store, including lanolin products, and Burt’s Bee’s chapstick, which only seemed to make matters worse. O’Keeffe’s Lip Balm is the only thing I can use during the day that somewhat helps me. After reading all of the really great reviews for Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, I decided to give it a try. I also noticed other people were leaving reviews who like me, previously had zero success no matter what they had tried before, were combining the Laneige WITH Burts Bee’s Overnight Intensive Lip Treatment. Thanks to their experimentation & taking the time to write extensive reviews, I was also able to ensure that I ordered a silicone applicator and both products! I put each product on every night before bed, & I put both on every morning before I leave the for work, and I carry them in my purse just in case I’m extremely busy throughout my day & not hydrating as much as I should be, just to keep my lips from getting super chapped. I know many people have expressed hesitation about the price point of the Laneige product for the size of the container. However, I would argue that there ARE MAJOR, valuable benefits, including the quality and longevity of the product. It’s truly a long term investment for your skin care. This product is a new introduction to my skincare routine. My lips are constantly dry and I am ALWAYS repeatedly applying a lip moisturizer throughout the day. I have only used this LANEIGE Product 2 times overnight . It has stayed on overnight and upon waking up, surprisingly well! After having coffee and beginning my day my lips do feel a bit more moisturized. But I am still at a point where I feel I need to put "something," on my lips for added moisture. Hopefully with continuous nightly use, this product will truly deliver on its claims. I definitely would suggest giving it is try. The glass packing is fair size and a little goes a long way.

10/10 recommend! My lips are always so dry and they’ve never been so soft and hydrated. The vanilla smells divine and it feels like I’m finishing off at the spa every night during my nighttime routine. So so pleased! Will be using it every night for the next ever.

I’ve been using this product for over 2 years now. The first time I used this lip mask it was given to me as a birthday gift. I ended up losing it so I recently purchased it again.To start, the price is very expensive for such a small container. I was expecting it to be a little bit more bigger but I understand the science and management of skin care brands.Next, the texture of the lip mask is very silky and smooth. Its creaminess makes it easy to put on lip without struggling. It does last a very long time and makes your lips so buttery soft. It also comes with a lip applier to help put it on your lip without using your finger. The smell is very nice, I purchased the vanilla. Although it was ment to be night lip mask, I use this lip mask during the day as well when my lips feel chapped.So overall my product review would be a 8.5/10 but I’m going to give it a 5 star because it really is a great product. I’m going to try and stretch the product to last for another year because paying $25 for a really small container is crazy! I’m pretty sure that I could have found a dupe that’s cheaper and does the same exact thing. But oh well!
