The sound quality is fantastic—rich, clear and powerful enough to fill the room without losing detail. I also really like the physical controls and classic Marshall design; it looks like part of the room rather than another piece of electronics. Pairing is straightforward and everyday use is effortless. Easily one of my favourite home audio purchases.

Far surpassed my expectations! I normally don’t take the time to write reviews but this Marshall Bluetooth speaker is too rad for me not to share! I had compared similar size speakers at different price points and chose the Stanmore 3 for our vaulted ceiling bedroom. We just started using the Moongate app for sleep sounds and I wanted more bass for the Theta tones. My wife is a fan of Bose but comparing components and reviews the Marshall line wins. Very pleased with the quality of sound—clear lower eq and nice treble adjustment. I’ve played a variety of genres so far and they all sound great. I glad I went for the Stanmore instead of going up in size and price. As my daughter commented—it totally fits the vibe and aesthetic of our mid century modern home. I highly recommend this speaker. I went with black to save some money over the higher priced cream or navy.

I have about 250 CDs and finally decided to get them ripped to digital files. I wanted to be able to play them in a room other than where my stereo equipment resides. I've got several small Bluetooth speakers that just don't cut it for the mostly classical music in my collection and wanted something richer...MUCH richer. I used AI to get me in the ballpark and this was NOT one of the recommendations. When researching the top recommendation I found that there were several complaints about being able to make small volume adjustments at low volume. When looking up the #1 on Amazon, the Marshall Stanmore III speaker was also in the list. This was highly recommended and was on sale at the time so I got it for two Benjamins. I don't regret getting it for a second. Also - the volume is very adjustable at low volume.I installed an SSD drive in my desktop computer and ripped all 250+ CDs to it in a single directory/folder. Then I downloaded the VLC app on my phone and linked the shared music folder to it so I could control what was playing from my phone. It works great, but also plays my phone sounds over the speaker, interrupting the music. So I bought a Bluetooth USB antenna for the desktop and now I can play the music collection uninterrupted from my computer. It works GREAT.Pairing was simple, both with the Marshall app (phone) and without it (desktop). I made the Marshall speaker the priority sound output on my desktop, so now whenever the Marshall is on it automatically switches to use that. The sound is amazing. Bass and Treble knobs are on the Marshall speaker, as well as the volume knob. Very simple. Very intuitive. You can also adjust these levels in the Marshall app. And I love the retro look - receiving several comments about it after setting it up.The ONLY negative I've found (and it's a small one) is the power button functions backwards from what I would expect. You flip it "down" (toward you) to turn it ON, and "up" for OFF. This is on the top of the unit, so i
